Our values
Oak & Audubon is a collection of travel stories told trough fashion. Owner and designer Dan Stroupe shares his travels around the world with color, texture, fabric, and silhouette.
Every piece is handmade in New York in a small production workshop or by the designer himself. We believe in quality, unique pieces made using slow fashion techniques for all sizes and genders.
Every collection is dedicated to a location I have travelled with our most recent collection celebrating London. Read my travel logs at the link below.

Made to measure
Made to measure tailoring is at the heart of what I do. I am pleased to offer a complete made to measure service for suiting, jackets, trousers, formalwear, and outerwear in New York City.
I have created a series of house silhouettes that express my vision of the brand and spirt of the location being explored in the current season.
This season I have embraced the tailoring tradition made famous on Savile Row and have introduced a new suit, wrap jacket, tailored wide-legged trouser, and outerwear into the house codes at Oak & Audubon. I am thrilled to take another journey with you in creating something that will last you a lifetime.

about dan
Oak & Audubon is the dream and labor of love for its founder & creative director Dan Stroupe. It is the culmination of decades of experience in luxury retail, custom clothing, design and creative direction.
Born in Charlotte NC on Old Oak Lane, he has lived in New York City on Audubon Avenue for over a decade. While the brand’s namesake is based on his home, Oak & Audubon is an expression of the travels he has been so lucky to experience all over the world.
He has a degree in Illustration and worked for many years as a graphic designer and art director while also working in the luxury clothing industry. He cut his teeth at Bloomingdales on 59th street, eventually moving on to managing the bespoke services at Turnbull & Asser- bespoke shirtmakers to royalty, celebrities and tycoons.
Along with Oak & Audubon, he is currently managing the Loro Piana business at Bergdorf Goodman.
He is looking forward to bringing his years of taste and expertise to you for all of your clothing needs at Oak & Audubon.
